Accuracy and verification
We check key facts against more than one source whenever possible. Unless an article explicitly says so, it has not been reviewed by a certified wine professional, and we do not claim otherwise. Tasting descriptions are presented as typical characteristics, not guarantees, because wines vary by producer, region, and vintage.
Original writing and the use of tools
Our guides are written to be original and genuinely helpful. If research or writing tools, including AI-assisted tools, are used during preparation, every article is reviewed and edited by a person before publication, and we remain responsible for its accuracy.
Updates and corrections
- We review articles when information changes or when readers point out a problem.
- When we make a substantive update, the article shows an “Updated” date. Minor edits, such as fixing typos, do not change that date.
- If we find a factual error, we correct it promptly. Significant corrections are noted in the article.
